Sažetak
Nine cases of a genodermatosis with symptoms clinically and microscopically similar to those of Epidermodysplasia verruciformis Lewandowsky-Lutz have been observed in the three successive generations of a bosnian family.All the affected persons had peculiar alterations of finger and toenails(which is not characteristic for Epidermodysplasia verruciformis).No viral particles have been found in the lesion of the skin of one patient non in the fingernail clippings of other three patients. The condition appears to be inherited as a simple-X-linked dominant trait.The presented evidence points to a conclusion that this dermatosis differs clinically and genetically from the classic Epidermodysplasia verruciformis and represents therefore an independent medical entity.
