Sažetak
The paper presents current status on deployment of Intelligent Transport System in Croatian transportation system. It is based on analysis of transport infrastructure development (freeways, highways etc), Croatian road road- telematic industry and other supporting activities (including scientific research, educational activities, standardization system etc.). Several future challenges in the field of ITS is indicated.
