Sažetak
The paper analyzes the jeans product consumption choice and purchase factors among population of Zagreb University students from two Faculties: Faculty of Agriculture (Agr) and Faculty of Textile Technology (TTF), on convenient sample of student population (N=139). By using self-administrated questionnaire with 24 questions that were analyzed by explorative factor analyses (FA). The set of 25 manifest variables were analyzed using five point Likert scale, so that this paper brings insights into the basic antecedents of jeans preferred by selected population. Therefore, the aim of research conducted here is to reduce large number of elements that define students` consumption choice and purchase factors of jeans to acceptable number of basic elements or latent variables. Using the FA method, six basic factors (latent variables), that define criteria’s for jeans product consumption choice and jeans purchase among students, were extracted and research results could be indicative for wider future research in Croatia.
