Sažetak
Vascular flora of salt pasture in the village Trpinja in the Vukovar-Srijem County has been researched during the year 2011. On some parts of the researched area, which has an area of approximately 4.5 ha, vegetation of pannonic salt steppes of plant community Camphorosmetum annuae is fragmentarily developed. Researched area represents last remnants of this vegetation in Croatia, which is also threatened on the European level and is therefore categorised as priority habitat type 1530 * Pannonic salt steppes and salt marshes in the Annex I of the Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora. For the whole researched area of salt pasture 85 plant species and subspecies were recorded. Out of them 10 are listed on the Red list of vascular flora of Croatia: as much as five are critically endangered (CR), two are endangered (EN) and one is vulnerable (VU). Furthermore, this locality is the only one, or one of just few localities of some plant species in Croatia. In conclusion, researched area represents rare, unique and floristically very important habitat and is therefore suggested for the protection as special reserve of grassland vegetation (IUCN category IV), with the purpose of protection of rare and in Croatia unique vegetation of continental salt habitats.
