Sažetak
Diocletian's palace has survived the last 17 centuries through various transformations, both historical and spatial, and everyday life has been going on continuously since the very beginning, thus creating a unique matrix adaptable to different life and spatial needs. Today, domicile inhabitants and their way of life are vanishing and are being replaced with tourists and the town image adapted to tourist perception. Can the historical core resist the tourists invasion and the transformation of the city into tourist scenery? A proper Management plan for the historical core should prevent this development of events.
