Sažetak
New technologies have enabled the rapid expansion of large amounts of information over the Internet. More and more people are using information technology in performing daily personal and business tasks, and it is no wonder that government is interested in new technology and information literacy. Information society in which all citizens are actively participating is vision that all developed countries tend to, including Croatia. For this purpose a Central Office for e- Croatia is established, whose main goal is the development of e-government and the harmonization of national policies for developing an information society with a legal legacy of the European Union. Implementation of e-Croatia program includes a number of projects divided into seven categories: e-business, e- tax, e-customs, e-justice, e-health, e- education and e-culture. The aim of this paper is to present several listed projects and examine their feasibility and impact in public, also the advantages and disadvantages compared to using traditional "face to face" services.
