Sažetak
Classical ballasted railway track consists of rails and sleepers, connected by fastenings and ballast as their support. The role of sleepers is to transfer the loads from rails to ballast foundation. This paper is focused on experimental testing of monoblock pre-stressed concrete sleeper type B70 at the rail seat section (RSS). Sleepers are statically and dynamically tested for the positive bending moment at the RSS and statically for the negative bending moment at the centre section. As a part this research, fatigue testing at the RSS was also conducted.
