Sažetak
For the Popes (John Paul II) visit to Split and Solin a complex decision support system (DSS) was conceptalised. Described system supports solving specific problems such as: location selection for the metting place, pilgrims flows scheduling, traffic menagment, transportation using ITS, internal transportation, and dimensioning of corridors around sectors for the pilgrims in metting site. Whole system is a combination of GIS support system, mathematical optimisation models, and logical models, all of them based on census database.
