Sažetak
Patients with Wernicke's aphasia were compared with the healthy controls on two phonological tasks. In an oddball paradigm the participants were asked to detect a deviant syllable with the final consonant changed while in a matching paradigm they were asked to match two syllables (same or different). The results of this pilot study indicate that the final position of the phoneme is particularly difficult to process in at least some patients with WA. This could indicate the existence of different subgroups of WA based on the impairments on different levels of linguistic processing
