Sažetak
Within the project dealing with stress analysis and optimisation process of the bus structure type Eurobus AE 141 A, calculation of natural frequencies and mode shapes was made. This eigenvalue problem was solved by I-DEAS Master Series 7 software. For the modal elaboration of the finite element model of the structure, various types of finite elements were used: beam elements, shell quadrilateral elements, lumped mass elements and spring elements. Rigid body vibration modes of the bus were determined by taking into account elastic characteristics of the springs and inertial characteristics of the bus. On the other hand, elastic structure vibration modes were determined by the mass and rigidity of each element of the structure.
