Sažetak
The best way of integration of Roma ethnic minority is education of Roma children which is characterized by numerous problems. This paper shows progress in Roma pupils` education in Croatia on example of elementary school Kuršanec. Analyses of school success, school attendance, and Roma pupils` age structure show trends of significant betterment. Classes constituted only of Roma students present positive pedagogical discrimination with aim to help educate Roma children in accordance with their capability. Results gained by this analysis indicate that there is a progress in education of Roma students in Croatia despite the educational system not adapted to the specifics of the Roma ethnic minority.
