Sažetak
In this paper an overview of ultrasound application in textile processes, will be discussed on the basis of results gained so far. Dyeing efficiency under ultrasound in comparison to the conventional dyeing resulted in greater dye exhaustion and shorter time, under the same experimental conditions. Moreover, ultrasound has shown a strong influence on PET surface functionalization. As a result optical bleached PET fabric leads to a very high UV protection, higher as treated with UV absorber.
