Sažetak
At the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, Department of Aeronautics, the exceptional attention is dedicated to aircraft noise and it's impacts on all aspects in aviation: compliance with legislative, communications, human comfort etc. A set of preliminary measurements of the noise of the Diamond DV20, the newest airplane in the fleet of Croatian Aviation Training Center (CATC) were recently conducted. DV20 is light, general aviation airplane of composite construction, powered by air- cooled piston engine with two-blade constant speed propeller. The measurements were carried out with airplane on the ground in different engine power settings from idle to full throttle. In this paper the procedures and equipment have been described and the final results of the measurements have been analyzed and compared to previous results of other aircraft in CATC fleet.
