Sažetak
Relations between Immanuel Kant and medicine could be investigated on many grounds and from different perspectives. First, Kant's observations about his personal health condition and habits related to his health have historical importance, mostly for Kant's biographers. Second, these observations are significant also for the historians of medicine, engaged in the research of Kant's place in enlightment's influence on the medicine as a science. Third, connections can be drawn directly from the impact of entire Kant's philosophy and his influence on biomedical science (including current one). It is argued that the last dimension is the most valuable. It is emphasized that Kant's philosophical impact on (bio)medicine should not be considered too narrowly (e.g. influence on medical ethics), because his entire opus can give us many valuable insights related to broader issues in (bio)medicine (e.g. in epistemological and ontological issues).
