Sažetak
Objectives: Evaluation of microhardness is usually related to filler content of composite-resin materials (CRM) and indicates wear resistance. The aim was to determine the difference of microhardnes between several CRM. Methods: The Vickers test was performed to measure hardness of CRM: Tetric EvoCeram (TEC), Filtek Supreme Enamel (FSE), Gradia Direct Posterior (GDP), Charisma Opal (ChO) and one silorane-based composite Filtek Siloran (FS). For each material composite disc specimens were prepared (n=10). Samples were photopolymerized for 30 seconds with soft-start mode of Bluephase G2 (Ivoclar Vivadent, Liechtenstein). For microhardness testing three repetitions were made for each sample, using 5 and 10 g load each. The results were analyzed by ANOVA and Tukey post hoc test. Results: The highest hardness (mean value) showed FSE (34.54±2.13) then FS (23.49±1.15), ChO (16.16±2.23), TEC (13.81±1.49). Hardness of GDP (12.71±1.04) was signiffically lowest than all other CRM. Conclusions: Highest microhardness of FSE can be explained by the fact that it is the nano-CRM with high amount (50-70wt%) of silanized quartz fillers. Low hardness of GDP probably is due to fact that it is microhybrid-CRM. It also has prepolymerised filler (35wt%) what can diminish hardness value.
