Sažetak
The development of civil society developed distinctive forms of public security and protection. In the world there is a wide range of biometric systems, which today often come across as a modern approach to increasing the resolution of public and workplace safety culture and process protection. The paper explicate the basic criteria for the differentiation and classification, and the main special features conventional and multimodal biometric systems, the possibility of comparison of biometric characteristics, the characteristics of alternative multi-modal biometric models, building a database of biometric and possible errors, the possibility of stealing and misuse of biometric data. We will emphasize the practice of police.
