Sažetak
In this article the author analyses the current situation and sets conditions for organizational, material, personnel and professional developments as to the promotion and rationalization of the road transport performance according to the needs of the agro-business conglomerate PIK Vinkovci. A degree in which the transportation function affects the activities, the amount of performance results and development of the Conglomerate has not been yet sufficiently explored as far as technological, technical, orgazational and economic aspects are concerned. In this respect this piece of work represents a contribution to and basis for a valuable estimation of the significance of and possibilities for rationalization of the transportation with special reference to the PIK Vinkovci.
