Sažetak
The paper deals with a parametric study of composite beams made of the high performance steel (HPS) to verify their reliability level according to EN 1990. Parametric studies on composite beams can provide only relative representations of certain advantages of using HPS. However, these advantages can be accepted only in case of confirmation of the reliability level of composite beams, which is achieved by probabilistic methods. To allow the application of HPS in EN 1994-1-1, it is necessary to conduct laboratory tests on a large number of specimens. One of the motivations for this paper is parametric probabilistic analysis which can provide guidance for the development of specimen types for these tests.
