Sažetak
The ground plan of the Pauline Church of St. Jerome consists of two different units: an almost square single nave and a trefoil presbytery surmounted by a dome. With two Baroque bell towers flanking the façade, the church is a powerful architectural statement. The Pauline lay-brother painter, Ivan Krstitelj Ranger, decorated the presbytery with ceiling paintings. The Baroque sculptor, Joseph Weinacht from Zagreb, constructed the high altar in 1747.
