Sažetak
Sudden death in a traffic accidents poses a particular challenge for the forensic specialist because of the need for the correct context required in order to meet all the criteria of the cause-and-effect connection between sudden death and traffic accident. This also calls for specific guidelines in recognizing the required elements. One-sided conclusions in the interpretation of the cause of death can be prevented by relevant knowledge about accident, including the police and autopsy report, and possibly past medical records.
