Sažetak
This book deals with the current problem area of evaluating the quality of institutions of early and pre-school age education. It encourages readers (pre-school teachers, professional associates and parents) to continuous self-evaluation in various aspects of the upbringing-educational process. The proffered sets of constatations, apart from self-evaluation, enable constructive and focused discussion among all participants in the upbringing-educational process The book is divided into nine chapters. The first introduces the reader to the problem area of (self) evaluation of quality, and the following eight chapters consist of elaborating 8 indicators of quality as supporting points for self-evaluation of the individual and of the institution as a whole. Also, it enlightens to the reader certain issues in discussion with parents and children in one's own group in order to receive feedback on one's own pedagogical effectiveness and to improve existing practice. The literature used and a note about the author is given at the end of the book.
