Sažetak
The aim of this study is to demonstrate fatal drug poisonings and their distribution accordingto age, sex and drug-specific groups in the years from 1991 to 2005 in Zagreb region. In our study fatal drug poisonings were eqally distributed between male and female. The prevalence of drug -alcohol poisonings was higher among males (10% vs 5%) whereas single-drug poisonings were frequently diagnosed in females (38% vs 30%).
