Sažetak
Zhe goal of this work is to build a subsystem for dividing an object into building elements. The segmentation process is based on Brady's smoothed local symmetries. A part of the system which computes the local symmetries of presented objects has been implemented. In this paper a review of some shape representation techniques based on local symmetries is given, and some results of the implemented system are presented.
