Sažetak
A mathematical background generally important for the usage of acceptance sampling procedure is shown in this paper. A theoretical base of the Lot Acceptance Sampling Plans used to control large lots of different components purchased and installed during maintenance and overhaul is elaborated. The differences between main types of the Lot Acceptance Sampling Plans are explained. Considering the costs in the integral production – assembly chain, an economic way of items' inspection is chosen, and an acceptance scheme of the Philips sampling plan for the considered case is drawn.
