Sažetak
When one analyses sport that is so complex like judo without empirically proved assessment, the probability of making mistake rises. But, to make sure that the coaches will use scientific proved facts one must ensure that the information path between the science and practice is widely open. The goal of this paper is to show how the scientific methods in sport analyses can be trainers help. 60 throws were analyzed through the expert assessment of their importance in variables of men weight categories and age (juniors and seniors). First advice: Choose the correct techniques for judoka. Obtained data showed that the light weights use different throws or the same throws in a different way than the heavy weight. Second advice: Make sure that judokas learn correct structure of each technique, which will enable them to modify it when necessary. Do not learn them your versions of the throw because you modify it according to your characteristics. Enable them the same. Third advice: Make sure that by the age of seniors your judokas learn all important throws from each group and that they can use them in at least four main directions. Results showed that the complete technical maturation of judokas will happen in the senior age. In juniors one can see the polarization of importance in favor of ashi and koshi waza throws but seniors use all groups of throws almost the same. Forth advice: Change the weight categories carefully. The two factors were extracted by factorial analysis of the weight class variable. First factor comprises categories from -60 kg to -81 kg, while the second comprises categories from - 90kg to +100kg. Have in mind it is not the same to change the category inside of each group and to change it between these two groups.
