Sažetak
Using the data derived from simulation of the supply chain and transport system the authors are trying to demonstrate the possibility to create usefull cost-benefit analysis taking in a count the computer costs, the software costs and the labor costs.
The results show big savings in every company type involved in the transport chain. The savings are so big that the average payback period for the information technology equipment is in average less then two months.
