Sažetak
The efficacy of different compounds extracted from edible and medicinal higher Basidiomycetes mushrooms, Lentinus edodes (Berk.) Sing., Agrocybe aegerita (Brig.) Sing., and Pleurotus eryngii (DC.: Fr) Quel., on the inhibition of ochratoxin A synthesis was asseyed. The experimental results obtained indicate that some mushroom extracts can inhibit the growth and toxin production of the isolates of two toxigenic microfungi species, Aspergillus ochraceus and Penicillium verrucosum.
