Sažetak
Websites constitute a very important tool regarding person’s daily activities as well as businesses ones such as: transactions, paying bills, etc. Considering this fact, the credibility notion of a certain website is much extended and constantly has been object of debate. Initially, this paper presents the notion of web credibility in terms of customer related factors. Then it is performed a comprehensive analysis of the impact of website’s security as one of main factors affecting the credibility of websites. Furthermore, considering the fact that the security is a crucial factor of web credibility, we have treated an implementation, which handles one of points of web security. Concretely, it consists in penetrating and testing the security level of SSL/TLS protocol. The testing procedure’s method is based in a Wireshark protocol analyzer environment and its aim is to measure the level of cryptographic algorithms for this use of this protocol. Finally the necessary conclusions and recommendations are given.
