Sažetak
The offshore gas fields with modest amounts of natural gas have been discovered world-wide and, accordingly, exploitation of these fields by connection to coast with a sub-sea gas pipeline is considered economically unacceptable. This paper is concerning about the possibility of integration of offshore gas fields into complex integrated offshore industrial system which consists of system for exploitation and treatment of the natural gas (gas system) and system for production and transmission of the electric energy (electro-energetic system) which have to be connected to the electric power system by the sub-sea transmission lines. Based on available amount of natural gas and on the gas demurrage type, which influence on the corresponding elaboration of production technology, this paper gives a recommendation of an acceptable type of power plant which would provide for production of the electric energy with acceptable price, as well as ensure an economical profit for main involved parties, i.e. for the gas and electric distribution companies.
