Sažetak
Texture development during thermomechanical processing of a newly developed ultrahigh strength microalloyed steel was investigated, with particular attention to through thickness texture gradient. A considerable texture gradient was evident, particularly in the 1/2 depth compared to the other three positions (surface, 1/8 depth, 1/4 depth). The recrystallisation texture of austenite, {; ; 100}; ; 〈001〉, transformed into {; ; 100}; ; 〈011〉 component in the ferrite indicated an increase in intensity with increase in depth.
