Sažetak
An interesting field of research in respect of nanofibers made by electrospinning usage is thermal protective clothing design. Electrospun nanofibrous mats ensure higher thermal insulation performance together with lightweigth and comfortness, compared to conventional materials. The paper describes evaluation of polymeric single and composite nanofibers mats from polystyrene (PS) and polyurethane (PU) made by electrospinning on a net textile substrate concerning their heat resistance performances. The results were in compliance with the fundamental principles of the morphology of electrospun structures.
