Sažetak
The investigations of molten metal (ingot weighing 2 t) obtained by using a floating top insert. Studies of the microstructure of the metal bars of a serial experimental and showed that the cast metal has a ferrite-pearlite structure with elements widmanstatten structures. Chemical composition of cast steel showed that the ingot obtained by the experimental technology is characterized by a high degree of homogeneity of the steel on the carbon content.
