Sažetak
A mechanical treatment of organic reagents by simply grinding them together has reappeared as one of the "green solutions" to environmentally-related issues of the modern organic chemistry industry. Organic mechanosynthesis could therefore replace the conventional synthetic methods allowing for a clean and environmentally-benign route to C-C bond formation as well as to many fullerene-based and heterocyclic systems. In this contribution, application of mechanochemical methods of neat grinding and liquid-assisted grinding for the synthesis of known thiourea-based chiral organocatalysts and anion sensors using the click coupling of aromatic and aliphatic diamines with aromatic isothiocyanates will be reported.
