Sažetak
Selection of a high quality organizational structure under actual manufacturing conditions depends on a reliable philosophy of the management. This paper discusses the role of managers in complex technological production processes, with special reference to making car seat covers in automobile manufacturing. The importance of training, permanent and continuing education as a motivational element that contributes to workers' efforts and satisfaction is emphasized. The criteria that contribute to shaping goals and the rationalization of the manufacturing process are described, and in particular communication processes as an important prerequisite of positive effects are emphasized. In the experimental part an analysis of faults arising in the process of sewing car seat covers for a period of one year has been performed. According to the results it may be determined that weather conditions greatly affect the quality of work.
