Sažetak
Aspirations of the Republic of Croatia to become part of the developed business world requires adjustments of its legal and economic system. In order to accelerate the adjustments to the modern market economy, the legal system has gone through substantial changes aimed at industrial property regulation, and encouragement of company creativity in this respect, such as the usage of trade-marks and signs of geographical origin of products and services. This paper elaborates on the legal and economic aspects of product differentation and identification, as well as marketing stretegies of the development and usage of trademarks and signs of geographical origin of products and services.
