Sažetak
The paper investigates differences between two yarn spinning processes, and the properties of EliTwist cotton yarn and conventional ring spun cotton yarn as well as the properties of the fabric with the same yarn in weft direction. Physical mechanical properties of the yarn and fabric will be tested and analysed. The results obtained will show the positive and negative characteristics of each spinning process technology, and a certain conclusion on the justifiable use of these yarns for fabric making will be made.
