Sažetak
The data show that in the urban population of the city of Zagreb, a slight decrease in blood was observable in late 1980ies. However, lead intake via air was still relatively high. In the area of lead smeltery, even after efficient control of lead emissions, the contamination problem remained unsolved. Consequently, higher lead intake via locally produced food, and indoor and outdoor dust, remains a possibility.
