Sažetak
The paper investigates factors influencing the UV protective function of female swimwear: the functional quality of knitted swimwear fabrics before and after simulated conditions of wear and care ; and functional design of UV protective female swimsuits. This study demonstrated that swimwear not necessarily guarantee protection against UV radiation. The models of female swimsuits, purposely designed to increase UV protective efficiency, are presented.
