Sažetak
In this work the microstructure analysis of CuAlNi shape memory alloy was performed. For production of the Cu-Al-Ni shape memory alloy the continuous casting technique directly from the melt was used. By this technique the bar with diameter of 8 mm was manufactured. The microstructure characterization of cast bar was carried out after solidification by optic microscopy (OM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), respectively. The martensite phase primary as the needle-like into grains was observed. Martensite laths have different orientations into particular grains. It was found that average grains size was 98.78 m. The grain diameter near to the external surface is higher than into the center.
