Sažetak
The most important issue in surgical application of lasers is the assessment of temperature variation of tissues when subjected to the high-intensity laser radiation before the operation. Therefore, to minimize any damage of intraocular tissues due to heating, a mathematical model based on the space-time dependent Pennes' bioheat transfer equation , having taken into account different types of heat transfer processes is given. Detailed geometry of the human eye has been developed to give a realistic representation of the actual eye.
