Sažetak
In practice, there is a often a need for reproduction of colour. Because of the great importance of quality reproduction of the desired colour, various measuring devices for determination their differences and chromatic characteristics, have been used in this paper, measuring of red tones of available commercial dyestuff were performed, with usage of colour difference formula for determination their differences and with aim of getting a quality dyestuff selection. Equations of two industrial standards for colour-difference matching were used ; hyperbolic equation CMC and linear equation CIE 94.Today there is a tendency, especially in a technology of textile printing, for development a ways of printing with a small number of dyestuff, which need to have a standard spectral values x, y and other, compatible with values of CMYK. An example of such technology is Ink jet textile printing. As a standard, reactive dyestuff Bezaktiv Brill.red P-8BN was chosen, with spectral values, x and y, compatible with spectral values of magenta (x= 0, 464 ; y = 0, 232).Further task was a graphical comparison of the CMC and CIE 94 ellipses. The CMC formula gives better results in comparison with CIE 94 formulae, which is shown in a graphical comparison. So this confirm a fact that, for the textile industry quality control is better CMC formulae, a base for a standard ISO 105-JO3.From the 16 red tones of dyestuff been tested, 50 % of resulting spectral values showed a minimal differences. In a further work, mathematically was determined defined concentration of a chosen dyestuff, meaning their exact part in a mixture which gives a spectral values compatible with a standard spectral values of magenta.
