Sažetak
This third volume of the Contributions to the History of Broadcasting in Croatia consists of five chapters in which the author tries to present the activities of the Radio Zagreb and other Croatian radio-stations in the midfifties as well as the founding (1956) an the first three years of the Zagreb Television whenb ti was the only broadcaster in the former Federal National Republic of Yugoslavia. By the end of 1958, after opening of TV studios in Belgrade and Ljubljana, a common programme of all the three studios was established which, in periodisation aspect, ment a new era in the history of the Croatian televison (which will be discussed in the new volume of these Contributions). In the section Bibliography at the end of the book data on filed sound and film materials as well as on printed, manuscript and other explored historical sources are given, and a detailed selection from bibliography of the published works on radio and TV in Croatia from the beginning of 1954 to the end of 1958. A short selection of foreign bibliography, which served the author as a base for some comparative insights in the period between 1954 and 1958, is also given.
