Sažetak
According to the 1989 census, the population of the Republic of Croatia is 4 685 000. Of the total population, 8-5% are pre-school children, 10-5% primary school children and 4-5% secondary school children. Approximately 3000 children and adolescents with learning disabilities are included in the educational system (data obtained from the Ministry of Education), while another 3000 are receiving some kind of social protection (data obtained from the Ministry of Social Care).
