Sažetak
Eurasianism was an ideal-political social movement in the Russian diaspora during the 1920s and 1930s, whose roots are connected with the concept of the Russian idea. It was propagated by a collection of articles, entitled Passage to the East. Anticipations and Realisations: The Consolidation of Eurasianism (Sofia, 1921). Emphasised in the introduction to the anthology are the main features of the movement. Also empasized are reflections on the special historical mission of Russia in the context of the ideas contained in the text by Savickij and Trubeckoj, and accentuates their application (anti-European dispostion, anti-socialism and sense of catastrophe) in international publications, literature, linguistic and other sciences within the diaspora, but also within the Soviet Union. Eurasian ideas were promoted in Croatia by the Russian emigre journal The Russian Voice (Ruski glas, Zagreb 1924). The movement began to fall apart at the end of the 1920s due to the increased infiltration of pro-Soviet elements.
