Sažetak
Croatia can hardly be competitive in the field of agritourism seen as a tourist product and further efforts should be made to enrichment overall offer. Diversity and attractiveness of territorial dispersion of agritourism in Croatia could lead to a respectable level of its development. This is only possible if strategy of development is created along with other promotional prerequisites. The past practice of agritourism development in Croatia is generally proved successful, especially with development of small businesses, and it should continue to develop planned and premeditated. Agritourism contributes to increased safety in rural areas, which become important carriers of numerous activities, improvement of agricultural production and development of rural tourism and countryside in general. In order to make agritourism in Croatia more successful, since agritourism promise a better future of rural communities, urgent efforts should be made in creating more efficient legislation and trying to eliminate number of other administrative difficulties. All these activities demand active participation of local and regional communities, or counties, particularly in ensuring still insufficient/inadequate financial supports.
