Sažetak
1999 marks the conclusion of the delayed mass privatisation process in Craoatia with the graduate transfer of a nominal USD 1,7 billion worth shares still controlled by the state to 7 privatisation investment funds (PIFs) crated in 1998 and their successful quotation on the Croatian OTC financial market. With this transfer, effective control in some 200 companies shifted from the state to the private sector in a large number of boardroom changes.
