Sažetak
Potentiometric surfactant-sensitive electrodes provide an attractive alternative method for standard MBAS method for determination of anionic surfactants (AS) in waste-waters. AS can be also potentiometrically determined using surfactant potentiometric sensors. A liquid membrane potentiometric surfactant- sensitive sensor with 1, 3-didecyl-2- methylimidazolium- tetraphenylborate ion-pair as electroactive material has been used for direct potentiometric determination of anionic surfactants (AS) in model effluent formulations and industrial effluents. Sodium dodecyl sulfate and sodium dodecyl benzenesulfonate were used as AS for model effluents investigations. The standard addition methodology was used for testing the method using direct potentiometry. A multiple point cationic surfactant addition was used for application of modified Gran method for AS quantification in effluents.
