Sažetak
This paper is aimed at ESP teachers willing to exploit the huge cognitive and pedagogical potential of metaphors and analogies we teach/learn by. Whereas the metaphor is seen as a mechanism enabling the transfer of new words to technical jargon, analogies between computing and learning concepts are proposed as a tool in the delivery of an ESP university course.
