Sažetak
The paper presents an approach to teaching and learning ESP vocabulary based on semantic analysis and visualization on a particular example of IT jargon. The idea underpinning this approach is twofold: to make the students aware of the existence of multiple lexical relationships between subsets of technical vocabulary ; and to empower them to build their own associative hyperlinks between new and familiar lexical items. In this way students do not necessarily learn more words, but they learn them better: the vocabulary they can handle ends up to be a much more transparent, solid and viable structure, which in turn may even lead to a better understanding of the subject matter itself.
