Sažetak
It has been argued that qualia cannot be defined functioally. One of these critics is the absent qualia argument. This argument states that any functional definition of qualia can be satisfied by a system or organism that lacks qualia. In this paper I defend the absent qualia argument from a criticism advanced by Shoemaker.
